the problem with the champagne to wine comparison is that alcohol is a single molecule with a single effect; the differences between those drinks is in flavor, appearance, texture and other more superficial qualities. The differences between indicas & sativas on the other hand is vastly more complex between there is not a single molecule/drug in question, but rather, a massive array of relationship between cannabinoids with many different effects. Plus, obviously, alcohol is hard like heroin.
@tobynsaunders actually, I've just found, hops seems to alter the speed at which alcohol is processed... it slows the processing rate, and thus make more of a stimulative quality (during the processing) than a depressant quality caused by 'heavy reds' (which don't stay in the body so long)... still, I'm not partial to the alcohol to pot comparison; cannabis is too good for that!

say if u cross ak47 with widow. u grow them seeds. them either back cross it again with a widow or ak47 which ever shows dominant in the first cross. then keep throwin the widow or ak47 back into your cross. do that about 3 times .or as many as it needs to reform

Actually cannabis and hops are in the same family. There are people who have taken root grafts from the cannabis plant and grafted them on a hops plant. When you do that what you are left with is THC hops.
No really, I have found this out through research, and have actually seen live specimens. If you knew anything about plant biology you would know it is much more complex than that.

u cool. u stabalize it. by repeating crossin
say if u cross ak47 with widow. u grow them seeds. them either back cross it again with a widow or ak47 which ever shows dominant in the first cross. then keep throwin the widow or ak47 back into your cross. do that about 3 times .or as many as it needs to reform

Yeh i heard greenhouse seeds are ripping off everyone by selling F2's? is this true? is it also true arjan has been bribing Cannabis Cup judges to get wins? Greenhouse used to have a good reputation! And why was scott jailed for making a more potent variety? Was it not allowed in switzerland?

I thought this was going to be about marijuana beer.
You take a root graft from a marijuana plant and graft it to a hops plant and the hops plant produces THC.
Pretty cool huh? All the neighbors would never suspect a thing. There must be instructions online somewhere on how to do it.
Hops and hemp are very closely related and are in the same family.

Actually cannabis and hops are in the same family. There are people who have taken root grafts from the cannabis plant and grafted them on a hops plant. When you do that what you are left with is THC hops.

Whils you can graft the plants to each other the hops part will not produce THC, but they have managed to graft cannabis on to hops.

Thanks for the heads up. There were for lack of a better word urban legends of the hops producing thc when grafted to marijuana. I also appreciate people like you who don't insult but help.
I hate alcohol overall. But I enjoy an occasional beer or something. It would be really awesome if the hops could produce thc. That would make a pretty good brew.
I have a green thumb when it comes to plants including but not limited to marijuana. But when it comes to grafting it's way out of my league.
