In the begining stages of writing a book about my uncle who served with Charlie company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry. His Co was Capt Rudolph Yap. Between Jan and Aug of 69. Any information about the unit would be much appreciated.
@huey180 I remember Hester. I was on perimeter duty at camp perdue outside DaNang. Came in around midnight, I had to stand in the corner of leaking bunker to stay half way dry until daylight.
