  • rexaura again? ufff que onda.

  • @9ALDO And the teapot calls the kettle black.

  • @Overhazard sorry but what?

  • Game Developer 1: Should we make a bunch of stages for this game?

Game Developer 2: No. Let's just add a bunch of challenges where you play in the same stages but it's DIFFERENT.

    Game Developer 1: That's brilliant!

  • @CrimsonVermillioneye And honestly, it worked. Quality over Quantity.

  • @Rexaura888

Game Developer 3: Hey shouldn't we put in Classic Amy and Knuckles seeing how they were big name and since Classic Amy got a figure in a set

Game Developer 4: Yea and how bout Modern Metal Mighty and lets through in skins to of at lest both Amy's Tails Metal and Knuckles for the fans

Game Developer 2: Shut up you idiots thats the worst idea ever

Fans: hey were is Classic Amy and Knuckles and Modern Metal and were is Mighty and some Skins

    Developer 3 and 4: haha!

  • @sonamyfan666 Well that's a very negative way to look at it, and it could be worse. Sega could be treating Sonic the way Capcom is treating Megaman right now. Besides, they can't appeal to everybody, and considering all of Sonic's friends besides Tails were all minor to the story, any more characters would be considered fan service and therefore pointless, but you never know what they might throw in for DLC, if they continue that. Anyways, skins for Sonic is a terrible idea.

  • @sonamyfan666 I mean, who wants skins for the Blue Blur? Leave that to the hackers.

Just because somebody got a figure in a set that Sega didn't actually make doesn't mean they'll be a shoe-in.

Again, I say Quality over Quantity. I'd rather Sega make all their stages extremely detailed (which they did) than throw in a bunch of characters that serve no additional purpose and stages that lack quality and charm.

  • @Rexaura888 I thought you were familiar with what sonamyfan666 wants.

  • @Overhazard Well, I knew about Classic Amy, but I didn't know he/she shared the same view as some of the other fans. I thought that the comment was parodying the Sega thought process and what the fans wanted. Parody or not, though, it's much better than how Capcom is treating Megaman fans.

  • @Rexaura888 the point is that Amy Knuckles Mighty and Metal are fan favorites with there being a big push to bring Mighty back and the other 3 are important to the plot of every game they appear in and have been around since then and the skins are to kinda play as other characters like Metal was in Sonic Adventure DX and Amy did appear in a 20TH anniversary set as Classic Amy I hope they just ran out of time and making the DLC now

  • @sonamyfan666 Oh, that's what you meant by skins (though Metal was more of a Super Sonic skin without the invincibility, constant ring depletion, and the ability to float on water). I'd be fine with it.

Classic Tails seems more iconic though, especially since he's been in almost every game Sonic has been in. Classic Amy and Knuckles haven't.

It'd be nice to see Mighty again, but the newer fans (after Genesis) would think he's a Sonic rip-off (which he's not!).

  • @sonamyfan666 They at least acknowledged Mighty's existence in the Missing poster.

As for Metal, I think he should just be an alternate skin, if they include that (I originally thought you meant alternate outfits like in Rivals when you said skins), since all they can really do for Modern Metal Sonic is make him an optional boss fight, and since you never actually fight his regular form (racing doesn't count), it'd almost be like the Classic fight.

  • @sonamyfan666 Now, if you ask me who's missing, I'd say Omega and Big. Though not as iconic as the others (except for Modern Metal), they've been a part of Team Sonic for some time now. What baffles me even more is that Kyle Hebert, Big's VA, is credited as one of the VAs in the game, yet Big doesn't have a speaking line(Kyle's confused about this one as well). However, missions around the two would be difficult to imagine, and as I said, they have enough characters as is.

  • @Rexaura888 yea those are all good points and Amy and Knuckles not being iconic is weird because alot of the official group shots show all three and together they have the most appearances of all and plus Amy is the main female and Sonic Cd and Sonic 3and Knuckles are said to be the best sonic games and yea Big and Omega are missing which is sad the the Metal fight should be a race to save modern Amy as Modern sonic and sorry to through you off with the skins

  • @sonamyfan666 and plus maybe some new stages from CD Sonic 3 the Advance series and the Game Gear Master System games in the DLC with EGG EMPEROR boss with there come back to fit right in

  • @sonamyfan666 I wouldn't be bringing in GBA/DS/PSP stages anytime soon. They wanted to focus on the main console games for the PS3/360/PC Generations. Egg Emperor is already in the 3DS, so there's not really a need for him. More stages would be nice, but, again, I don't want them throwing all of them out there at the same time. One stage at a time will work while still giving the fans something to look forward to.

  • @Rexaura888 your right but maybe the first DLC should be CD and Sonic 3 with Modern Metal boss to fit Classic Amy Knuckles and Modern Metal in the first one but your right about the rest they would be a great way to bring back Fang/Nack Ray and Mighty

  • @sonamyfan666 The first DLC stage was and is Casino Night Zone.

The Modern Metal boss seems too much like a rehash of the rival battles in the 3DS version: a race to the goal. It could work, but it doesn't seem terribly exciting unlike the other rival battles.

DLC is the only way we'll be seeing any new stages and characters any time soon. Perhaps Sega would consider taking that up as a side project and working on that when they're not working on the next big game.

  • @sonamyfan666 Amy and Knuckles are iconic. It's just that Tails is even more iconic than them. In both Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, you have the option of having Tails run alongside you. Same thing in Sonic Adventure after you beat the game, and even before then in stages like Windy Valley and Casinopolis. Plus, as I've said before, Tails has been in almost every game Sonic's been in and even had three of his own games. Amy hasn't been in her own game, and Knuckles had one.

  • @Rexaura888 but Amy is a higher character classification Main female over male sidekick not true about Amy not making a impact she appeared in more Classic games then Knuckles cameos in Knuckles own game appears as two characters in Black Knight and is seen as being a female Sonic with the female stereotypes in stead of the male ones Sonic has and has been the one character to constantly get more powerful and plus Amy helps defines the Sonic series as much as Tails Knuckles &EGGMAN

  • @sonamyfan666 and yes the DLC can wait a bit but only till Sonic 4 episode 2 plus they might wait till the new year to release them

  • @sonamyfan666 When I say impact, I meant on Sonic history, not Sonic game. She is the first main female, but her presence was overshadowed by the robot who looked like Sonic and could move as fast as Sonic.

Technically, Amy's second appearance in BK was for comedy's sakes, regardless of whether the two were supposed to go on a date or not (as cool as that is).

What about Cream and Maria? Do they not resemble female stereotypes? They're both pacifists and extremely polite.

  • @sonamyfan666 Your last point about Amy getting more powerful: this game has shown that everyone has gotten more powerful, so...

She and Knuckles may help define the Sonic series, but to Sega, they take a backseat to Eggman(this is also his 20th anniversary) and Tails, who again has appeared in more games alongside Sonic and has earned three of his own games. As much as your opinion matters, Sega has the final word: Classic Tails > Classic Metal > Classic Amy in terms of priority.

  • @Rexaura888 well one thats some sexist jerk two Amy made a impact being the first Female in Sonic and I never said Cream and Maria weren't I was Saying that Amy was Sonic but as a Female and the Black Knight was to Show how important but yes it was for comedy after that downer ending that was a bit to much but still Amy and Knuckles large influence can't be denied in modern or classic especially Amy's influence

  • @sonamyfan666 Yes, she was the first female of the group, and that is important. It's just that compared to the kitsune and the robot, she wasn't as popular back in the day. If you look at early popularity polls and even today's, she has always been behind Tails and didn't beat Metal until he stopped appearing, so it's not sexist, especially since there are girls who like Tails more.

That makes more sense. With your way of typing, it's hard to understand what you mean sometimes.

  • @sonamyfan666 You can't deny Amy's importance, but you can't deny how important Eggman is(no Eggman=no Sonic games) and Tails(the cute fox whom everyone has known since Sonic 2) are. Knuckles was popular for being Sonic's rival, which somehow earned him his own game(Important for introducing the Chaotix). The fact that a lot of fans who have never played CD(shocking, I know) didn't know of Amy until SA or spinoffs doesn't help her in terms of popularity compared to everyone else.

  • @sonamyfan666 And popularity and being more iconic is really why Classic Tails and Classic Metal got in, and not Classic Amy (though why Classic Knuckles didn't get in is beyond me since he's more popular than Metal. I guess being Sonic's second rival isn't worth anything, especially since he can't run as fast as Sonic).

  • @Rexaura888 Yes there All important but What I'm Getting At is that they should of been in the game but lets just stop here and agree that Classic Amy and Knuckles and Modern Metal should be added with future DLC and stop Clogging this Page with comments

  • @sonamyfan666 Yes, let's.

  • @sonamyfan666 While Amy is the lone female in Sonic CD, Metal had the bigger impact in Sonic history out of the two of them. He was Sonic's first rival and could match his speed easily. Yes, Amy caught Sonic once he rescued her, but it's not like Sonic had anywhere to really go. Besides, at the time, she was just another Princess Peach.

Yes, those 2 games are considered the best Sonic games of the Genesis era.

  • @sonamyfan666 By the way, if you haven't seen it, check out this video: watch?v=JEZkrXaBkl0

It's the Sonic CD Developer Diary, which shows some of the sketches of Sonic CD, the thought processes, and some interesting facts (including the difference between Sonic and Amy's physical attributes like the number of quills).

  • Well done! I remember having some difficulty here, but that was when I first purchased the game.. Still, these 2-D platforming sections are very fun.

  • Thanks again! You really are burning through these requests.

I like how your homing attacks at 0:58 were almost in sync with the music.

And as Dr. Eggman once said, "Time for a change of pace!" I'd like to request a "Doppelganger Race!", specifically Green Hill Zone Act 2.

  • @Rexaura888 Okay, that request will be 114th.

  • Am i the only one to be insatisfied of Sonic Generations?

  • @TheFelixja13 What's there to be disappointed about? This is THE ultimate Sonic tribute.

  • @Rexaura888 yeah but still i think the game was too short ;/ not yah?

  • @TheFelixja13 True, that has been a big complaint, but as I've said before, Quality over Quantity. Besides, there's still DLC, if they continue to use it that is.
