It is pitiful to see a rare wild animal being treated like a domestic pet simply for some ones idle amusement. The slow loris is a highly endangered, nocturnal primate living in the treetops of the tropical rainforest. To see one living in such an alien environment with no regard for its natural needs, purely for human entertainment, is downright cruel. If you care about wildlife and conservation, please register your objection to this film.
That's brilliant! No, you can't have one, they ara a classically endangered species. They are losing habitat in many areas, and are often hunted just because some people believe the Lorises eyes have medicinal prorerties! They're small and slow. No wonder they are endangered, they have no defence. :-(
Ok, they exude some kind of protein on the inner part of their elbows, which they then lick so that it mixes with their saliva. So if you get bitten it might be worse that some other mammals, but it's not really a poison. If your cat bites you you'll probably need a tetanus shot or you'll get sick. Not that I'm being picky or anything. ;-)
where did you have him ?
