  • I'm listening to a mono Prima LP right now called Rock and Roll, which was a 1957 reissue that kicks off with a studio version of "Sing, Sing, Sing" that's instrumental and begins with Prima introducing the drummer, who then dominates the track. Just posted it for sale on Amazon.

  • Wow! This is great thanks for posting.

  • This guy is freaken awesome!!!I never seen anything like it!! Thanks for sharing bro ;-)very funny too!

  • I could watch this over and over again. There were so many talented musicians in the Witnesses, it's a shame how little information there is out there.

Thanks so much for posting. And JoJo, I remember the JV site when it was active. Glad you're keeping his memory alive.

  • WOW Just great. I have never seen this before! FANTASTIC what a group too!

  • The drummer is Jimmy Vincent, my father and we are much more interested in keeping his legacy alive for his fans than making a buck. Thanks for the positive comments. JoJo Breazeale. I have a fan page for him on facebook if you'd like to join. Jo

  • Doing some comedy with Louie Prima doesn't take away the fact that Jimmy was a great drummer. I maybe see now where Louie Bellson got the idea to hold multiple sticks in each hand, short scene of Jimmy doing it here.

  • I'm surprised the jerks from Historic Films Archive LLC haven't taken this down yet.

I uploaded the same clip a few months back, it got to just over 1000 views and then *poof* copyright takedown for it.

It's sad really that these sorts of companies don't care about fans, all they care about is the supposed money they somehow make from not having a video easily accessible.

As for the video, I couldn't agree more with anyone who says he's excellent.

  • @SamButeraFan...I hope this isn't taken down. This cat should be seen, heard and remembered, along with many other greats.

  • Jimmy saw me play many years ago in Atlantic City and gave me words of encouragement. He was an excellent drummer and an absolute crazy man on and off stage. Gotta love his showmanship!! Wish there were more videos of Jimmy available.

  • Amazing. Just watched this on a pbs documentary- and so pleased to be able to find it here. I'd never heard of his extraordinary drummer.
