I'd say good for the young kids, and I hope they keep it up. At orange belt, and in general assuming no prior training, this is kind of average. What I don't understand is, how is this part of your 3rd Dan exam? I don't know much about your style - is this how it is done: you're partially graded on how well your students do?
TraditionalTKD are you sure you have train with some of the top Master, because none of the ones I know would post bad things about student trying to do there best. Since these student are doing TLK they should be commended on there perseverience and integrity, remeber young 7th and 87th Gups.
Anyway, our organization has been all over the world and practiced with some of the top Taekwondo people in Korea and elsewhere. Not bragging, stating fact.
Okay, I don't believe I was challenging you by asking you about your background in the arts.
You call me retarded school children yet you are the one resorting to name calling. It's amazing how you can refer to yourself as a master yet know so little about yourself and the martial art you take. I guess you are still bitter from being banned from MT. Sad really.
I have no problem being asked my background in the martial arts.
25 years in Taekwondo, Kukkiwon 5th Dan certification, Chung Do Kwan 5th Dan certification, taught on/off since 1992. Anything else just ask.
I've no problem not being on MT. Considering who I had to deal with, it's much better without them. A Harvard-level student doesn't need to hang around a bunch of junior college students.
You are right TraditionalTKD I saw your video, you are definitely in the crap category... for Orange belts they looked to me to move better then you. Go Troll Elsewhere.
uh, "Master" Oring they are orange belts. They are not supposed to be impressive at that level. This was to show BASIC self defense that I have taught my students. You got a problem with that?
I see more street value in the techniques that orn belt did, than that worthless spinning kick you did. On the street, you'd be picking up your teeth. Why don"t you post more vids so we can see how a "real" master does it.

Just stick with teaching "American" martial arts and whatever else you decide to modify and make up.

What have you guys ever done?

What organization is that? Who did you work with in Korea exactly? Who is your Kwanjangnim?

I think all you've ever done is be the pivot man in a circle jerk. Put up or shut the hell up!

Well that's certainly eloquent! All you do is reinforce that you and your colleagues are a bunch of douchebags.
I don't have to prove anything to a bunch of retarded schoolchildren, and I'm not going to get into a pissing contest. I merely stated my opinion.
I was too busy teaching and practicing to worry about being videotaped.

I doubt an orange belt could do that. I'm not a troll, I'm honest. If something is good I'll say it's good, and I have.
In this case however...
The guy talks WAY too much by the way.

Orange belts can and do do that. I think you should put up or shut the hell up.

Oh well, it's a free country. You're always going to have the crap with the good.

At least I don't claim to teach five different martial arts. I teach one and teach it the best way possible.
But whatever works for you. It's a free country.

Just out of curiosity how long have you been in the marital arts? How long have you been teaching?

This is supposed to be impressive when?

Little touchy are we?
So, which martial art are you teaching this week?

So as a "traditional" TKD person do you often go around criticizing 8th - 7th gup kids?
Perhaps you would like to have your students of the same rank and age show their stuff so we have something to compare it to.
