I just wanna ask who cares? Why do we waste time, money, and space on non-violent offenders when long bouts in prison doesnt seem to good for your demeanor some of these non-violent offenders could come out violent but it's all in the name of what is "socially acceptable" and we all must be the same copy in the herd of sheep.
Hey I know! How about you idiot judges stop sending people to prison for non violent crimes like possessing marijuana? The solution to overcrowded prisons isn't to build more prisons its to find out why so many people are being sent to prison. I want to know why the rapists murderers always get paroled when a drug dealer is always getting life without parole? Not to mention the thousands that get sent right back no second chances for a dirty UA...
Inmates have more rights than corrections officers . Most of the inmates try to kill us and keep us from going home to our families . How would you feel about the inmates if they tried to fuck you up on a daily basis ?
I think people who feel sorry for these inmates need to wake up and realize these inmates put themselves there .
PLEASE READ AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT (See YouTube videos) Judicial Benefits & Court Corruption Update / Evil Triangle of Court Corruption / Richard fine / Dr Shirley Moore slush funds /SBX 211. To end this title wave of corruption in our country must start with the corrupt judges. We can not bring evidence of corruption to corrupt judges. Los Angeles Superior Court judges are illegally and unconstitutionally taking 50,000.00 each for a total of 23 million per year.
It is very important that they release dangerous violent psychopaths if thats the only way that we can have enough room in the overcrowded prisons for the EVEN MORE DANGEROUS PEOPLE, those people being those who committed non violent victimless drug offenses. Nobody is worse than a non violent drug offender not even a rapist/murderer. I am so glad our politicians understand that fact.
@sideslide23 Umm..... NO! You're about 100% inflated, big guy, on the health costs! As far as your claim that most of our tax money is spent on prison.....wrong again! Show us where at least 51% of the states tax money is spent on prisons.....thats what I thought! School is in session. CDCR accounts for about 11% of total state spending, not to be confused with the stae budget which CDCR takes about 7%. And for the record, it costs just under 50K to house one of Cali's finest. Facts don't lie!

@remsensor
Agree, exterminate the repeat violent offenders and legalize marijuana. That's how you deal with prison overcrowding.
