  • I tried every technic and everything to realease my trapezius trigger points. For 15 months I am in constant headache and I cannot take it anymore! I cannot get rid of those f... trigger points! Nothing helps!

  • @Platorin try suboccipital release for headaches

  • is she dead?

  • i wish i could talk like that

  • His voice makes me want to sleep.

  • I also like the video effects, and would also like to see a longer video.

In my experience, limiting blood flow to the area by holding longer than the 8 seconds (but not too long, obviously) starves the muscles that are firing so they are no longer fed energy, in the form of blood, to continuing firing.. it denies the ability to fire long enough to actually release. I understand there are different schools of thought on the 8 seconds

  • thumbs up if you feel so relaxed after watching this video lol

  • junMRT:

Question, does this technique works for chronic triger points?

    ~Exsecrabilis~

  • Socialbutterfly3000:

I'm simply refering to Chronic as in returning symptom and Trigger point or TP, as in Tender point where skin or muscle is sensitive to touch, that it may trigger pain elsewhere in the body on either the same or oppossite side of the body.

    P.S. Greetings and Salutations.

  • Can't hear a word he's saying

  • The video is great. I like how it shows the red trigger points. Would enjoy a longer video on the subject.

  • I agree, I would love to see more videos on massage and trigger points. Highlighting the area that is being affected is very informative and helpful

  • I utilized trigger point and neuromuscular therapy for 10 years. With new knowledge I have concluded that this technique is very effecient. The patented Active Release Technique offers far superior results for treatment of soft tissue structure effeciencies in a fraction of the time.

  • ART is a great technique. I've explored most of the soft tissue techniques (Nimmo, ART, Graston, Gua Sha, etc..). But the one I'm the most impressed with is Kaufman Technique. Google it and you'll find some great info. BTW, I'm not affiliated with Dr. Kaufman in any way. I've never even met or communicated with him. I just really think he's got some great ideas.

  • I wonder where your accent from?

South America , or East Europe?

  • he looks like russian

  • I would agree. He sounds and looks Russian.

  • Well if it sounds like a duck, acts like a duck, looks like a duck, its most likely a chicken. :B

  • An amendment to Travells TrP pressure release technique states that 5-7sec pressure and 2sec release allows blood flow and and hence the flushing of muscle metabolites. Prolonged (>8sec) ischemic pressure is contraindicated as it cuts of blood flow to the focus area.

Thanks for your videos as they are very informative and few people know of these powerful techniques.

  • i gave u a thumb up because im one of those people that dont understand the impact of his teachings but i do know its important never the less.
