Nogizaku Haruka no Himitsu is a pretty standard high-school romance anime. The geass and scene juxtapositions are creative editing. It's got slightly less fanservice than this amv would have you believe.

And I recommend watching/reading Death Note. It's virtually identical to Code Geass, minus the mechs.
