This story scared me the most when I had this on cassette tape back in the day. I think the music, the haunting voice off in the woods at the beginning...I would sit in bed terrified, frozen in place for hours after listening to this lol. Nowadays, it's kind of a silly story (me tie dough ty walker? what does that even mean!) but back when I was a kid, eeeeek

This story used to scare me the most, and in a way it still does, because it's an example of human perception in which there are extremely unnatural events that simply cannot be explained, nor can their repetition. A sense of something very unnerving that doesn't seem to have an end, only a chilling reminder of a horrid fate; a brutal murder within that dismal place.

Dude, this takes me back to the 4th grade in 1997. This was from that Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark book. It was the most popular book ever, every kid in my class that year borrowed it at least once!
