@Xamuswing Honestly, I think the ice cream thing just makes it all the sadder. Roxas is a nobody, which means he thinks he doesn't have feelings, when he really does. His only understanding of friendship is spending time with his friends and eating ice cream. So, the line "Who else will I have ice cream with?" is just a way of saying (like Lightenup74 said) "Who else will be my friend?" It's just the manner that makes it kinda weird, Jesse could have said it a little gentler.
@zniekz Xion was created by the Organization 13 in order to help Roxas collect hearts from the Heartless, and stop Sora from waking up by storing the rest of his memories in her. She soon realized she was only being used for the wrong purposes and knew that in order to stop Xemnas, she had to die and bring all the memories back to Sora so he could wake up and stop him. At least, that's what I think.
@geocross237 actually i think even though Roxas is with Sora now hes still very sad because he knows somethings missing in his memory and that thing is the memory of his best friend Xion. I think they will both be happy again after dream drop distance.

Ever watch RedvsBlue. Xion is like Tex. When Alpha/Church was created out of the directors memories, and his memories of Allison made Tex by accident.
Xion was created by Vexen. When Vexen gathered some of Sora's data, it made her. Since Vexen didn't catch all the data, it made Xion. Xion was meant to make sure Sora never woke up. But all went wrong, so Xion passed on.

In my point of view , Xion was an amazing character who had a lot of courage and bravery , she percieved what others didnt and even though she struggled , she made it through , but i believe it was only fitting for her to fade , if she didnt , roxas would not have learned the many lesseons that he learned and he would probably be dead right now , so be thankful that xion faded , just dont let the sacrifice be in vain....
I felt so strongly for the character, more than most dare I say, she never gave up on life, she always stood by her friends, she showed the most courage out of any KH Character in my opinion and yet she dies without leaving a single trace of a memory. Cruel. R.I.P Xion
I dont care what people say about the game, gameplay, story, voice or anything. I actually LIKED 358. And I liked Xion. I don't get how she's a Mary-Sue to so many people. In all honesty, she's almost as strong as Aqua. She gave herself up. She almost went crazy. She was a PUPPET and she knew it and she STILL tried to live. She protected her best friends and in the end she was forgotten. I loved Xion. And I will respect her as much as I respect Aqua.

Vanitas wasn't necessarily pure evil, but he was definitely dark. He also had to live in constant pain due to his separation from Ventus due to being incomplete.

don't worry she's coming back in the '3rd kingdom hearts' game. according to kingdom hearts re:coded they need to get Roxas, Axel, and Xion in order to defeat Xehanort. and its not just those three, they need to gather some other people as well, but those three were listed so they will be back. ;)

@ItachixMalice don't tell me. tell the creators. i know axel is dead, but some how they have to bring him back to defeat xehanort. they made it pretty clear. wasn't xehanort dead as well though? if he's coming back when he is in the exact same situation that we left axel, then mabye axel will find his way back as lea... im not sure how it'll happen. play the ds games and you'll understand.

@Diamonddeathness (continued from part 1) that Sora must heal the suffering of Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Xion, Namine, Roxas, and Axel. and that the time will come "when they must rise from their sleep." i think thats pretty straight forward. and think about it, Ven's Heart is a part of sora's in the exact same way that Kiari's Heart was a part of Sora's. so when Sora goes to find Ven he will have to give up his Heart again, thus fixing Ven and..... @Diamonddeathness (continued from part 2) thus fixing Ven and creating Ven's nobody, Sora's noboby, and possibly Xion because she went back to sora the same way Roxas did. so by giving his Heart back to Ven we get Ven, Roxas, (maybe Xion), and Ven's nobody. now Axel is in the same situation we left Xahanort, his heartless and nobody were destroyed. it has been confirmed he will return. so if Xahanort is returning then Axel could just as easily return, as Lea. get my theory? ;)

In my point of view , Xion was an amazing character who had a lot of courage and bravery , she percieved what others didnt and even though she struggled , she made it through , but i believe it was only fitting for her to fade , if she didnt , roxas would not have learned the many lesseons that he learned and he would probably be dead right now , so be thankful that xion faded , just dont let the sacrifice be in vain....

I felt so strongly for the character, more than most dare I say, she never gave up on life, she always stood by her friends, she showed the most courage out of any KH Character in my opinion and yet she dies without leaving a single trace of a memory. Cruel. R.I.P Xion

I dont care what people say about the game, gameplay, story, voice or anything. I actually LIKED 358. And I liked Xion. I don't get how she's a Mary-Sue to so many people. In all honesty, she's almost as strong as Aqua. She gave herself up. She almost went crazy. She was a PUPPET and she knew it and she STILL tried to live. She protected her best friends and in the end she was forgotten. I loved Xion. And I will respect her as much as I respect Aqua.

@SasukeSuperSayayin4 Roxas was lied to and used by the Organization, Ven lost his friends and ended up in a coma, Xion was killed by her best friend, and Vanitas was brainwashed and became a pawn of darkness. Sora finds his friends in the end at the price of innocense. Compared to the others Sora's was sad, but not as sad as the others.

Vanitas wasn't necessarily pure evil, but he was definitely dark. He also had to live in constant pain due to his separation from Ventus due to being incomplete.

This song is personal, unlocking feelings of regret, lingering memories, forgotten memories. To an outside listener, it is whimsical, a light-hearted tone that washes away a deeper meaning. Yet, as an explorer of the world of Kingdom Hearts, I can only recall Xion, Roxas, and Axel, eating ice cream together, only for this moment to shatter. Xion fades away, her existance erased, and Roxas's memories are shrouded with new memories, leaving Axel in solitude, the friendship broken.

One day i had an argue with my father when i played kingdom hearts this summer ( i'm currently 15 years old) and he said "why are you playing that childish game ? " and i told him "childish ? this game is not childish, it teached me a lot of things about life and friends ", then i told him the whole kingdom hearts story and he ended up agreeing with me
