  • I had that preview on my Peter Pan VHS too

  • I actullay got a demo VHS tape to this and it contains NO FBI warning screens, and NO previews and NO Walt Disney Classics logo. Not joking.

  • @rod1014 Unbelievable. If only you had something to capture VHS footage, like the stuff I use, I would like to see the opening to it.

  • You mean, after the black screen it just goes straight to the 1985 WDP logo?

  • Opening to The Jungle Book 1991 VHS (Spring Lead 1991)

    1. 1984 FBI screens

    2. Coming to Theatres from WDP logo

    3. The Making of "Beauty and the Beast" teaser trailer

    4. cut-shorts version 1986 WDHV logo (man saying, "Coming from WDHV")

    5. The Rescuers Down Under VHS trailer

    6. 1989 WDC logo

    7. Start of the film

  • I am only watching this to listen to Eva Gabor say those two lines. God Almighty, how is it possible to have that beautiful a voice?

  • @KodyBoy555 It means they place it in the Disney Vault till such time to re-release to film either in theaters or back on DVD, VHS, or Blu-ray

  • I like The Rescuers Down Under Making

  • Opening to Peter Pan 1998 VHS

  • I wish SO much Disney would have done this more...even on DVDs, for that matter. Are there any 'Coming on Videocassette' logos in that format? Not like they used it in the mid-90s, but in the format already provided?

  • 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo 3:26-3:45 1985 Walt Disney Pictures logo 3:45-3:58

  • I kinda think that they should've used the gold Feature Presentation logo before the Walt Disney Classics logo.

  • Can you tell me the voiceovers for these previews?

The Rescuers Down Under Sneak Preview

    The Little Mermaid VHS Preview

  • Mark Elliot did "The Rescuers Down Under" and Brian Cummings did "The Little Mermaid".

  • Everybody knows the Little Mermaid can't be on video until 1998.

  • @bloodshotclam It was actually released to video in 1990 as an experiment to see how a newly-made Disney animated feature would perform when released on home video.

  • Comment removed

  • @wileyk209zback Are you crazy?! The Little Mermaid release theatrically in 11/14/97.

  • @bloodshotclam Right, but remember, when it was released to video in 1990, it was only for less than a year, to be put back on moratorium in early 1991. Then Disney decided to restore/enhance it and re-release it to theaters again in 1997.

  • I had Peter Pan on video when i was 8/9 and saw the 1989 re-issue in theaters 2 times, i also saw Rescuers part 1 re-issue that year too and saw Rescuers Down under 2 times.

  • Original VHS Opening: Peter Pan (UK Retail Tape)

    1: Blue Warning Screen

    2: Closed Captioned Screens

    3: Euro Disney Advert

4: Coming Soon To A Cinema Near You Logo

    5: Aladdin Trailer

6: Walt Disney Home Video Logo

7: Winnie The Pooh Mini Classics Trailer

8: Beauty And The Beast Trailer

9: Walt Disney Home Video Logo

  • Could you possibly upload the overture start of Peter Pan ("The Second Star to the Right")

  • At a new pawn shop in Madison, Wisconsin(the same place where I bought The Jungle Book 1991 VHS), I found another VHS copy of Peter Pan from 1990! And, this one has a horizontal ink label instead of the other one I found at Goodwill which has a vertical ink label(kind of like The Little Mermaid 1990 tape).

  • 0:03-0:21 was also seen on the 1991 VHS of "White Fang".

  • It has the 1986 WDHV logo inbetween those two, so it doesn't really.

  • @systemoperator If you didn't know the previews I'll tell them again for my copy:

    1. 1984 FBI screens

    2. "Coming to Theatres"

    3. "The Rocketeer" preview

    4. "Coming on Videocassette"

    5. "Shipwrecked" trailer

    6. Gold "Feature Presentation" logo

    7. Walt Disney Pictures logo. And that's it.

  • Wait, you mean to say that there is no WDHV logo on there?

  • @systemoperator Nope.

  • Unbelievable.

  • haha awsome, ive got this when living in the states around 90-91 and i still get goosebumps while watching this!

  • I found this at a Goodwill store today, along with the 1992 VHS of The Rescuers! Between the 1990 and 1998 VHSes of Peter Pan, I just like them both.
