These videos about Daily Painting are interesting. I personally use this journey as a learning experience. You hit the nail on the head by stating that the more you do the better you become. Many people (outside of artists) think you are born an artist when in fact, it's a lot of work setting challenges and practicing to achieve self imposed milestones. Look at any "daily painters" blog and you will see marked improvement over time. It's amazing.
It is my experience after nearly 600 days that doing this EVERY SINGLE DAY nearly no matter what, makes things happen artistically. What happens is that you pull out things that you did not even know was there simply because you paint in all kinds of emotional states and life situations.
This is a good one. We need this kind of information to get out.
I would like to add that the artists are a mixture of artists with formal education and artists that due to practical circumstances have to "make up" their own art education using workshops, DVDs books online tutoring ++++. By combining getting expert advice through multimedia like for example your DVDs, with working 7days/week 52weeks/year which many of us "self-teaching" artists do, we build up a huge amount of practice. cont
