  • Hello! Great lesson, and the licks too. Isn't the guitar an American Standard?

  • @victor1997ification Thanks....glad you like it. I actually built this strat. It has a B. Hefner neck built for me, Rocketfire Total wound 60's pickups, CTS pots, switchcraft jack and selector, and the body is a lightweight "no name" made of alder. It's a frankenstrat for sure, but it feels good and has a decent tone. If you haven't tried pickups from Nick Sorenson at Rocketfire Guitars, you should. The tone of these pickups is spot-on for SRV or hendrix. Thanks again...

  • Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I just purchased a Fender Telecaster and a Line 6 Spyder Jam amp. Long time fan of the blues but new to learning how to play the blues. Thanks Again!

  • I really like the lesson and the riff, what key is this in?

  • @taylor516ce Thanks for the comment. It is in the key of "C".

  • awesome, please post more videos

  • hello sir! great video, what amp is that you are using, amazing tone

  • @SuperAudioZombie Hey thanks for the comment...The amp is a mid 90's Fender Hot Rod Deluxe in tweed with a single 12" speaker. I have modded the amp. The pickups are made by Rocketfire guitars, the guys name is Nick Sorenson. These are the "Total wound 60's" from his website. Fantastic pickup for pure blues tone. Keep rockin! You can hear them better on my other videos of live improv blues. Keep Rockin!

  • excellent thankyou
