@MsAnita97 In 8-Ball, if you scratch during an attempt on the 8-ball whether it pockets or not you automatically lose doesn't matter if you sink the 8 first. The only way you can not lose if you scratch on the 8-Ball sinking is during the break...the rules to this are kinda weird, the opposing player can either accept defeat or spot the 8-Ball back on the table. The 8-Ball is always spotted in games with something on the line ofc.
