  • @KeroroAfro Google constantly changes the algorithm to improve their translation service. So the system actually "learns". Every user can contribute to that. That's why the translation now might be different than when the experiment was conducted...

  • I once translated something completely unrelated to politics into Russian, then back into English and every other word was the phrase "President George W. Bush". I can't remember if this was on Google Translate or if it was SDL's free translation service, but it was hilarious nonetheless.
