Guys, there's no way scuba divers could've got to them. Aside from the distance and danger mentioned earlier, don't forget that the water was flowing in fast, creating an intense current. No way a team could swim against that.
@weky26 its extremely dangerous divinng underground in flooded caves or mines because u could get lost or trapped by a cave in or crushed by said cave in
@jabailo theoretically that could work but all things considered like a possible cave it getting lost in murky watwr getting caught on equipment it doesnt sound like a very good option but i guess it could be an if all else fails option
@jabailo i think it will be hard they will need a lot of oxygen tank to carry through out there way and also if they got in to he miners they will need gears and another oxygen tank so drilling is really an option
But it didn't seem to be that far into the mine. They could have just run an air hose through the water initially (which is what they did with the shaft) to the trapped miners. Then haul in some breathing apparatus for each of them and then lead them out one by one or in groups. At the very least they could have run the air hose through the water and then given them more time to work out the escape.
Ahh the perils of a Balrog's rage!

Was it possible to send scuba divers with oxygen devices to drag them out?

Too far to scuba. Took 40 min to drive in w golf cart. U need many tanks of oxygen. Tanks are like 50 pounds each.

Could they have used scuba men to get to the miners?
The mine passage wasn't blocked...just full of water.
