  • Awesome and missing this band...

  • Paul Rubberback tearing up as usual...

  • wow! this is real neat stuff. like dave matthews meets rush.

  • Time for a comeback Boys!

  • i use to see live in seattle all the time....AWESOME

  • Yeah...Paul Roraback moved on after the band released a 2nd album under the name "The Illustrated Band." Its available on iTunes. Slight stylistic change, but nothing major. Michael Blake has done some solo stuff. Not sure what the status of the band is right now. Paul worked a bit with Austin's most incredible guitarist, Monte Montgomery. If you don't know him, YouTube him NOW!! Insane playing. See Mommatrain has been posting...thanks for the Paul update, Momma.

  • This was such a phenomenal band ... anyone know what happened to them?

  • Amazing, amazing sound for three guys. I jump out of my chair every time I play this.

  • You guys are the greatest band ever. I heard about you from chad russell in lubbock. You so rock! Big moments in my life history are tied to the song pearls to swine. Track two is an awesome riff.

  • This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I've put it on many mixed discs throughout the years. Thanks for posting the video!

  • Glad to hear your great comments! If you liked Gideon's Press, you're going to love Paul Roraback's new solo CD which is scheduled to come out anytime.

He's releasing under the name P.J. Bostic and will be having tracks on his My Space. I'm totally blown away by it. But then, I'm his mother ;)

  • The way they experiment with time signatures blows me away. 3/4, 4/4, and 5/4 all in one song! And their drummer has to be the most talented I've seen. I saw them twice, and I wish they would have gotten a solid following.

  • They had a pretty decent follow around 1999, since "Pearls to Swine" was all over Air 1. My favorite sound out of any band in a long long time.

  • Words cannot describe how good Gideon's Press are - they should have been much, much bigger than they were. Pity the core (Michael Blake and Paul Roraback) are no longer together...

  • fantastic!!

  • One of the most technically amazing bands ever. Too bad they have never gotten the recognition they so much deserve
