The '85 Bears? One year of a good defense (not too much offense) and they fizzle out after that. The '72 Dolphins? Wooooo they went undefeated against who?
Fun fact: After Super Bowl XIII, Thomas Henderson supposedly sat in his locker and cried like a baby after the Cowboys lost the game. What he deserved after running his mouth like he did leading up to the game; he wrote a check his butt (I'd use a certain other word, but I don't want to get blocked) couldn't cash.
@JRangerCR355 I think Joe and Terry Bradshaw have this little protest against the NFL..Remember they were no-shows for SB 40..They probably won't show up for SB 50 either..I love Joe to death, but I don't think he would of been an interesting interview because he wasn't during his playing days..And we already see Bradshaw enough every Sunday..But Jack Lambert I think would be very interesting because you rarely saw him spoke..
I think Bill Belicheck copied Chuck Knoll's coaching style because, they're personalities were the same! Strictly business, no smiles, straight to the point!!!
@MrBillyBatts1 cheating? eh? so pittsburgh were the ONLY TEAM on 'roids at the time? all that HOF talent is pointless then? you're bitter hon, face it. it's like those 49er o-lines. tremendously athletic and powerful? nope, hosed down with silicone before every game, Romanowski admits as much. if it's not outlawed then you can use it. there are probably players now using drugs or techniques to get ahead, they'll be deemed illegal if the PTB say so. tis the nature of the game. peace out.

I'm not a Steelers fan, but I, absolutely, love these 70's Steelers teams. I wish I could've witnessed them 1st hand.
Jack Lambert is on of my all time favorite players.
Plus, I love seeing them beat The Cowboys LOL!

It's a shame that Bradshaw, Lambert, and Ham didn't partake in these America's Game documentaries. Joe Montana too.
KennethKaniffFromCT 3 months ago
@KennethKaniffFromCT Agreed. Joe Montana would of been awesome to talk about the game-winning drive against the Bengals in Super Bowl XXIII.

thanks about the swearing. offically, without bias, which dead players could we tie to steriods from that era? Mansfield, Webster, anyone else?
of course Mark Tunani, Cowboys great LT od's on smack back in the nineties, that's perfectly acceptable.
