Exactly and imagine how much lighter they are than the Crown Vic. I think the Vics weigh around 4200lbs (made heavy for pitting). These Impalas though I'm not sure if they can pit like the Crown Vic.

for some reason our police use Holden Commodores for both there marked and there unmarked police cars this is in new zealand. the one thing about our police cars that give them away is that they are allways a flash car like year 2003 and up. they never use a 90s model like most of us drive if they did it would really blend in

Yeah im in australia And we use Holden Malloo utes (Fastest Production Pick Up Trruck in the WORLD!), And VE Commodores (Pontiac G8) as unmarked...

And Holden VE commodores as marked...

And Holden Monaro`s And Ve Commodores As Highway Patrol.
