I purchased this for $22 when it came out. Now, prices may vary. If it were $22 or cheaper it would be a good deal. Depends on how bad you want it :)

The box is all Japanese and says "Transformers Encore" so it is indeed the Takara version.

Well my birthday's coming up, and lets say I find one for a bargain.

I love the posabilaty,(I think I spelled that right.) of the movie figures, and the main reason I'm not sure is because of the posability, and I'm afraid it might break!

If you like them and can get figures for your birthday, why not? I don't know how sturdy they are but today's products are very fragile. In the eighties they used to make products of thick rock-hard plastic and metal. Now it's all cheaply made. I can see a difference in plastic quality between my TF reissues and my vintage 80's TF's.

I love his box as much as I like the figure. I do regret not getting some G1 stickers so that I had the Martini-logo's. Now he's all "Agent Meister".
