Im 35 and I always have liked SUEDE!!! on the other hand, my friends and relatives didnt like them or never heard about them , Anyways, it is never late to start liking this band and sooo many others, Wish they meet up again and perform,,,, =)
Love suede, seen them live a few times now and there ace!! Would love em to make a proper comeback.....but not sure how they'd do on today's music scene. :-/ their last album (in my opinion) was pants. :-/ Still love them though...
phatcockproductions - I can't believe I have just read what you wrote straight after telling a friend of mine about my recent "related atrists" excursion around sptoify in search of my teenage years soundtrack. Gobsmacked doesn't come close mate. Anyway, I hated Suede when I was younger and thought this video downright weird and in need of destroying. Now however I think this video rocks and the song is awesome!!!!!!!!
martin staines when i asked you if you liked suede in 93 replied, "cheap and nasty like suede" and teenage fan club are the next big thing, wonder who was right
@phatcockproductions A quite magnificent comment. I totally agree and share your sentiment. I never liked Suede, more of a Blur fan but this knocks socks off anything Blur did. I was 15 when this came out in 1993 and I wish to hell I had liked them then.
@phatcockproductions because 1. most people are more impressionable in their teen years, and so, the music that we heard back then, whether we liked it or not or even remembered it, affected us to a greater extent than we would have thought then 2. unexplicable nostalgic reasons linked to that 2. oh yeah, and possibly also because the "music" of today keeps getting crappier and crappier...
@phatcockproductions best comment ever on youtube. so true. i only found Suede, Placebo and The Smiths when i turned 30 better late than never i suppose
Yea same here... suede kinda annoyed me... but i heard this song the other day on the radio and thought... ''FUCK how did i miss this when i was younger''... clearly i was an idiot!!
I should be a rockstar or rock music video producer+director in my next life. If there is...
If not, I would wish to keep my youtube favorites running thru my mind while dead/half dead/life after death..

Suede were one of the better bands that came out of the '90s British scene.
Normally I hate VEVO ads, but the 5-hour energy 'dietary supplement' advert preceding this song makes me snortlaugh.

the most important song of the 90s for british music.
Theechosen1from1993 11 months ago 36
@Theechosen1from1993 dont fully agre with that! It was integral to the brit pop movemnet but by far the most important track! Good effort though!
