  • you somehow sound like lucahjin

  • awesome. one of my first games ever.

  • Gabriel Knight Best point and click ever made, the beastn within that is:)

  • @omgwerockhard i'll stick to day of tentacle, monkey island and full throttle, can't decide among them.

  • awesome VGA edition i must have played and completed this game a dozen times thanx for the upload.

  • lakeblood kinda sounds like mcgamar... XD

  • @savetheworld007 Lakeblood? OH! Lateblt! That's the best mishearing I've heard ever! XD

  • This game is more suitable for kids than other games.

  • cool a fellow aussie player :D

  • "Commentators"? MAKE IT STOP

  • Just thought i'd let everyone know i have the Roberta Williams collection, the Space Quest Collection, the Police Quest Collection, the Leisure Suit Larry collection, the Quest for Glory Collection, Codename: Iceman and Manhunter 1 and 2! So you could call me a Sierra adventure fan! :)

  • LtBlt is epic.

I probably spelled his name wrong.

  • Yeah, some children :3

  • The soundtrack for this game was awesome.

  • my mum and dad taught me this:

    shave and a haircut,

    two bits!

  • Thumbs up on the LP I've watched Ltblt on his LP's which was fantastic.

  • This is great, thank you for creating this.

I have played through many of the Sierra games and to be able to watch them like a movie is so entertaining and relaxing.

  • I never ever saw the VGA version before. that's so interesting

  • Well whiskey is an alcoholic beverage that is most commonly processed in Well Pennsylvania. In order to be considered true Well Whiskey the beverage must be brewed from Well Wheat.

  • You know, I was curious what happens if you say you're over 100. I tried and apparently if you say you're over 100 years old, the game says "Oh no you're not!" Then it kicks you out. But Who knows, someone over 100 might play this.

  • Awhhh...poor Larry :P

  • Leisure Suit Larry not suitable for kids? Oh SURELY you jest!

  • I know! I was a surprise to me as well!

  • Umm deuces are 2's :P

  • Yeah, Someone already beat you to it - I had a major mental blank of it.

  • @Thepiller heh they make a "let's play" and they can't even answer the age questions... hey in the VGA can you skip them??

  • Just out of curiosity, does anything amusing happen if you pick "over 100" for your age? In the original it boots you out of the game if you claim to be over 99, I believe....

  • Yeah, It says :"No you're not" and throws you out.

But in this day and age it's quite possible!

  • Heh, somehow your guests sound reminds me of Brain, in pinky & the brains show.

  • my guests? I assume you're refering to LateBlt and somehow I'm sure he'll be overjoyed to hear that he sounds like Brain. ;P

  • LateBlt sounds slightly like Microsoft Sam, maybe it's because of the skips in the conversation.

It's kind of funny, cause I grew up playing games like Duke Nukem 3d, LSL series, Space Quest series, Quest for Glory series and stuff as a kid. Those games are so fun!

Sadly, those series are over, and so is the adventure game series as we know it.

    Thank god for DosBox!

  • But for most people of out generation there's still loads of games to play as we couldn't have been rich enough at the time to get everything, but now we have the internet and it's all going to be better now. ;P

  • Well, that's true. But I really hope they continue remaking games like Secret of Monkey Island.

  • is this over ventrilo or something? or did lateblt comes to australia? o___o

    *slow*

  • Yes he came to australia. ;p

No, He's in the US where he always is, we did this over Skype and tightVNC

  • i thought so~ awesome.

i've never actually played any of the LSL games before, so this is exciting =)

  • Exciting is one word Larry likes!

  • I found it really funny that I had to turn down my bass on the speakers becuase of LateBlt's voice. It was disturbing the guys next door.

    :D

  • Haha. I just have a mental imagine of someone going "Hey! We can hear that guy's voice in our walls! Tell him to shut up!" ;P

  • I tried looking up the "well whiskey" thing, and found the following: Well drinks are the house drinks which are served as a default when the customer does not specify a brand.

  • Ah interesting... And probably useless knowledge to two people who don't drink alcohol. ;P

    But thanks. ^^

  • I've always wondered how Roberta felt about seeing her hubby picking up pixelated booty...

And I'm kind of worried that lateblt will soon get spammed with co-lp requests, there's no denying the exposure he's giving you.

  • He's a big boy. He knows to use his delete button. ;P

As for the exposure, I'm not really into plugging so I was kinda D: when he did it.

I suppose it was bound to happen eventually tho

  • Lateblight doing a "commentary" with Resulka, eh?

How does hercrabbiness feel about that? :-o

  • I'm guessing alright considering she's in the room when we're doing this said commentary. ;p

  • Oooohh...I gotcha. Things just got even more interesting!

    "Let's Play..."

    ^_^

  • Gah, I didn't know this one was remade in VGA.

  • I played that on the Amiga .... no idea how I got past the Questions at the start Oo

A Walkthrough said to tell the bouncer in the bar the Code that's written on the Bathroom wall ... well the first thing I read was "Scott me up, beamie!" .... and the real password was "Ken Sent me" ... good times trying to figure out why the first thing doesn't work xD

  • Oh, and don't forget that Tuesday is the Beer Barrel's Night! - Was it? XD

  • Don't forget that Tuesday's your night in the barrel!

At least I think. I'd have to watch it again. ;P

  • Yep, that's correct ^_^

  • Actually it's not since it's not Tuesday it's Thursday. Oh dear. ;P

  • Wow, the quality of LateBlt's voice in this one is pretty higher than the one in Necromancer. Improved Skype Config, perhaps? O-o

Also, I'd really like to test that and see if I'm capable of doing a coop LP or something with a friend, because I've never used that Skype thingie and it seems pretty good ^_^

Also, Leisure! Siut! Larry! One! YAAAAAAIIIIII !!!!! ^_^

  • Actually it's because I've been recording from a sound chip on the motherboard which doesn't take kindly to such things. I've got an actual sound card now.

  • Oh well no wonder! ;P

Well Welcome to the World of GOOD sound. ;p

  • I had Leisure Suit Larry 1 (Original and Remake), 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 complete walkthroughs on my old account. Since i got suspended, i lost all my videos. Well, actually, i have them here with me, but it will take a while to send all those files back.

By the way, you can skip all this questions. Just do that:

Hold CTRL and ALT keys, then, press X.

  • Yeah, We know about the Cheat, but it didn't feel like a complete Let's Play without going through the questions once. ^^

Making the game experience complete. ^^

  • Please post as many of your old videos as you can. They were all so great!!!

  • Bleh. Those questions are so US-centric. I mean I don't expect them to re-localize the game for international release, but a little bit less specific-knowledge would be nice. =[ Like how would a non-American remember a memorable but obscure politician from the 1960's...?

...and here's where I realize I'm complaining about a pretty old game, with questions that could be found after a 3 second internet search. WOOOH!

  • Haha. It's true we could find it. But I think it shows alot about how much the world really LOOKS at America, If even I, an Australian can answer most them without going "Huh?"

But I could just be a very knowledgeable person and it has nothing to do with America itself but with how I absorb Knowledge.

  • It's just a localization thing really. Also keep in mind these questions were meant to be answered in the 1980's/90's...

When McCarthy wasn't as much of a distant memory and Calvin Klein was more popular... and... yeah.

  • Yeah true. Who has any idea who Charlie McCarthy is now at least from my generation?

  • Well, Americans do because he's a cultural figure of the Red Scare during the Cold War.

I only know him because of the movie "Manchurian Candidate".

  • Just to make myself feel really old, Charlie McCarthy was Edgar Bergans ventriloquist Dummy.

Bergan was famous for being a ventriloquist on the radio and in movies.

  • Well was he named after the other McCarthy at least...?

Just so I don't look like a total moron? XD

  • Joseph McCarthy was the senator from Wisconsin that did the red scare.

Dont feel like a moron, at least you knew what the red scare was, better then half my history class :)

  • Ah well.

I suppose it's more I didn't know about the ventriloquist than anything else. :O

  • *petpet* There there Al, Be comforted. I didn't know about it either.

  • @slokiller2003 Somehow being a ventriloquist on the radio seems like cheating.

  • lol a deuce is a two. Have you never seen roger rabbet?

  • Argh! Of course it is! It makes perfect sense now that you've said in. Resulka = Ultimate fail! ;_;

  • If it wasn't for watching your commentary on other videos, I'd be surprised you're playing a game originally titles "Softporn Adventure."

That being said, nowadays I'm not to surprised of much of anything.

  • No, I'm pretty sure this one wasn't ever called Softporn Adventure as that's a text adventure, But this is the "spiritual"sucessor.

At least that's what I think it is, as I never played Softporn Adventure so if it has the same story I wouldn't know.

  • I guess we're both right. Had to go back and research a bit as the only place I learned it was reading an article in The Escapist Magazine. But, yeah, SPA is a text based game, that someone else put into a graphic adventure as Leisure Suit Larry later. So, I guess, same game, but, different engine and different people.

  • With Roberta Williams sitting at least semi naked in a hot tub on the cover. ^^ For Soft Porn Adventure anyway. apparently it was a big scandal at the time!

  • Welcome, LateBlt!

As a long-dead great poet (undeterred by neologisms) decidedly must have once said: the more witty commentary can be packed into a let's play, the better!

Keep up the good work, you two!

  • LateBlt seems to be working his way into every LP. I suspect plans of world domination.

  • It's more likely that it's because we ask him to.

And I don't think 3 LPs indicates World Domination. Need at least 4 of them for that. ^^

  • *Comes rushing from the air although physically impossible* Did I heard World Domination? Sign me in! ^_^ I want Jamaica, if I may :P

  • Bwahahahaha!

  • If I remember correctly, if you pick the highest age (maybe the second highest as well) the game will warn you that it may be hazardous to your health.

  • I used to always go with that option when I was a kid - dunno why. But yeah, I'm sure no elderly gentleman kicked the bucket because of this game.

  • Don't be so sexist! What about elderly ladies?

  • I wasn't.

The Heart problems associated with um... the type of excitement raised by this game wouldn't kill a lady as our hearts aren't exactly attached to our sexual response. ;p
