We had the first rail road in Latin America, the first TV broadcasting station, The first country second to the US to abolish slavery, the first instituted 8 hour working day in Latin America. The first Latin American country to offer health insurance to their workers. The best climate, the best beaches. The first department store, " El Encanto" We had it all. Until the Castro bastards came into power and turned the country into a zest pool of communism.
