I have the ss supercharged. I removed the sc and sleeved the block and put forged pistons it already comes with forged crank and rods. Then I added a 56mm turbo made buy bullseye. Completely re did the fuel system and have full tuning capabilities via HPTuners.
At one time the car was combo charged running both sc and tc. But the turbo only was faster when I could get it to hook.
Stock trans just went out at 45k when I added a 100shot. Non progressive.

For the people who say he just beat a v6 camaro (including myself ) You need to go check out his vid racing a 427 roush supercharged. Ive seen stock 2010 camaroSS smoking 427r's on rolls with no prob and in the video you see him slowly pulling on the 427r. which still makes me thing that camaro was a v6 since you left him a lot easier than the 427r. cobalt may have been running lower boost, it could be a SS that couldnt drive, either way the cobalt ss is fast and has to get credit for that much

Brand hating, region hating, and displacement nut swinging all are prime examples of excellent ways to be an idiot. It's widely known that higher displacement engines respond better to modifications than lower displacement engines, as a general rule of thumb. That statement isn't always true but it's a good starting point. It doesn't mean that anything less than a 6.2 LS3 is impotent, however ;-)

just remember this is not a new 2008+ SS that comes turbocharged this is a supercharged 2007 converted to turbo.
