If I had the financial ability and no ties keeping me here...I would love to try living in another country for a while! As long as you realize it can be much harder than your life is here. Many more hoops to to jump through, just to get a job or place to live.
And, it shouldn't be an escape from emotional issues, as they will follow you where ever you go! I've joined the force of unemployed Americans. And the benefits barely pay the rent! So, times are tough all over...My family keeps me sane..
