how is ur CA sportline? its been about 3yrs since this review, and how is it holding up?

@LiteScar Right now it's in a gun case under my bed. The last time I used it was 8 months ago when I tore my ACL playing airsoft. As far as I know, it still works. I just had surgery 3 weeks ago so I'm unable to play in any fields and it's getting no use. I'm kind of considering selling it.

im glad to know its been working well. has there been any serious problems? jams, gearlocks etc.?

oh and i hope u get better soon, id feel bummed if i cant play airsoft ;X

@LiteScar Nope, no problems at all. If you treat your rifles with the respect they deserve and not just as a toy. They will last and they will treat you well in performance.

@wmmopsymw It really depends on where you live. I live in Florida, USA so the minimum age is 18 and rifle must have a orange tip visible at all times and is required by law to be shipped.(Although many paint or take off the orange tip)

A m15a4 carbine sportline can u keep many years if u threat it well, with cleaning and dont break it.

How did you get the black tip/flashider on? I cant figure out how to get the damn thing off. So I have electrical tape around it. How do you GET IT OFF??

I had that same problem. What I did was take a flathead screwdriver or even a phillips and put it in the cracks of the flash hider and use the screwdriver as a grip. Just make sure your turning in the right direction. They put some glue on it so that it don't come off easy.

Yes, I've played against 2 highly upgraded kwa's..came on top in both games. I even had one come up and wanted to buy it over his kwa. I've been to maybe a total of 4, it did great in all with a 1100 mah battery and .25g bb's

No...ABS plastic, the only metal is the trigger, sights, sling attachments, selector switch, buffer tube and rail. It has a aluminum barrel which is blue btw. :)

Doesn't really matter, I guess a dry rag would help. But I used a damp rag.

Yes that's what I mean about the mags. Milsim is short for Military simulation. Not a bunch of kiddies running around with hicaps and unlimited ammo without radio and camo and..you get the idea right?

I doubt it, the crayon is a wax which stays in the grove. Plus the pencil seems like it would be tough to wipe off. Better go with a crayon.

Nice Nice I have an M1612 air soft gun and me and my gang (air soft groupp of like 30 ppl) and it was 15v15 and dude if u dont have it i recomend the Deagle (desert eagle) and also the M16 they both hert like hell man so if u like causeing pain get the Deagle

i also have a sportline(which im buying the metal version soon) they said if you buy a 9.6volt battery you will blow the motor.... nice vid

My friend uses a Echo 1 with nylon bushings (same as in the sportline) and he uses a 9.6v around 1100 mah. I think they blow their motors because they hold down, instead of short bursts. But I might get a 8.4v 1800 or 2200. ;)
