you know, if that 4runner is a manual and you get stuck like that again heres a tip-floor it, change to 2nd gear, keep going, change to third, and third usually gets you moving, dont ask me why or how, but it works for me. i have the same exact 88 4runner, mines lifted 3" with 31's and a v6.
