me too .. one of the best days giggin i been too ,, bunnymen where as good as always , i remember Mac kickin a bouncer .. Chams awesome as ever .. sisters great .. Spear great ..
I too was there, a great day the Bunnymen, Sisters and Spear of Destiny were good but it was the first time I'd seen The Chameleons and I was blown away, to this day it is one of the best gigs I've ever been too.
God I was there too! Bunnymen headlined doing 'Ocean Rain'. The Redskins were on before the Sisters of Mercy cos they joked about how it would start raining and dry ice would seem natural when they came on...The Chameleons just did their own thing and sounded ace.
I was at this, this was an all day affair on York racecourse. The Redskins,The Bunnymen, and Spear of Destiny were also on the line up ,plus others? Anyone remember who headlined this, cheers for posting, this is social history in my opinion(we were their for Spear of Destiny but the Sisters were on form.R.I.P Dawn good memories.
I was on the bill before the sisters and after the redskins = a little known ranting poet called richard rouska. a band called out of the blue bought onto the bill instead of dewsbury band Leitmotiv. Bunnymen headlined
