Arabs are not the only people that can belly dance a lot of other people from differnt ethnic groups can belly dance too so i don't know why all these arabs think that their the only ones that can belly dance beacuse that not true.People just need to except what they can do and stop being ignorant beacuse i think most of the american dancers are relly good.

Considering the fact that no one can diffinitively prove were belly dance came from. I've even seen theories that the celts came up with thier own from of belly dance.

I didn't read the other comments, I just read yours. What people mean , is that arabes belly dance better, we're not saying others can't belly dance, and im sure theyre are some belly dancers ( from different areas) that are better than arabes. But arabes orginally dance better, because its an arabic dance. Its like pizza, its and italien food, sure anybody can try to make it, but you can't be surprised if an italien makes it better, because its originally from his country...

Jillina is a brilliant dancer! This is a really great choreo. I fail to see how she can be described as stiff! Her moves are gracious, fluid and fit the music perfectly. I only wish we had gifted teachers like her in Malta.

I love the REAL Arab dancers that dont have to rely on counting, too much choreography, boring stiff moves, natural flowing Egyptian dances like Fifi Abdu, Dina, Randa Kamel, Souhair Zaki and others. There are some excellent American born dancers too like Zahra Zuhair and others.

I think Jillina is beautiful, whether she had surgery or not. But, this is definitely not one of her better performances. Her movements look way overexaggerated.  :/

I like the real Arab dancers that know how to dance with their souls and hearts. This one is very boring, American and uses way to much choreography and relys on that rather than raw talent.

so are you saying that if a bellydancer is not Arab then they are no good. they don't dance with their hearts and souls. why do you have to label her as an american dancer. A dancer is a dancer no matter what nationality they are. I would suggest you look into her back ground and you'd see how wrong you are.

What does plastic surgery have to do with her dancing? You know you just look like an idiot. Make some intelligent comments for once. I mean, it's okay to not like her type of style of dancing, but you don't have to say such nasty things about a person you don't even know. Grow up. Plus, how can you say she doesn't dance from the heart? Look at that beautiful smile!
