Don't be an idiot. He wasn't trying to impress. He was demonstrating. Sure he could have gone full out and done something incredible, but who would look at that and say "Yeah, I can do that". What he did looked simple, people like simple stuff, they buy simple stuff. They learn a few tricks, impress all their friends... that makes them happy. Happy people spend lots of money.
Tyas preforms contact juggling live on stage and does contact exclusive shows. He may not be the best but he is still good enough to make a living off CJ.

yeah, if you wanna see smooth and fluid, watch some of moon's stuff. this guy has some of the worst technique i've seen on youtube, honestly, let alone getting paid for it
actually I reckon that if you're prepared to put in a little bit of effort you could be as good, if not better, in about 6 months.
Also in terms of terrible editing and shocking isolation there aren't that many worse videos than this. Especially considering he was paid to make it.

The clear balls don't show any movement, so instead of seeing a ball roll from position to position, it gives the illusion of motionlessness.
