@ARBuilder1776 Why so doubtful? Have you thought of all the jobs such a mission to mars would create? The commercial opportunities? The cultural shock of a mars mission wouldn't only save America's economy, it would contribute greatly towards resuscitating the world, and inspiring our children to aim higher. And god knows they need that.

So before you resign on your planet, think of how our grandparents were able to go to the moon, while you just sit back and say "whatever".

If you say that the British are behind the Fed than OK. But another system of Credit backed by paper promises (backed by the full faith of the Gov) is not even going to get off the ground.
