new 'old-school looking' games are very popular now and 2D is back ! Just look at games likes Braid and Terraria. If you ever find a good programmer , i recommend you to continue the work , as it will be worth your time and effort ;)

I love this style of gaming. It's got that Ys style of game-play, and seeing that simplified level up screen where you choose which stats to upgrade is like game cocaine for me.... And a nice soundtrack too.

Please resurect this project! It looks like a cross between Wonderboy in Monster Land, Ghosts n Goblins and Maple Story. Or is that just wishfull thinking?

@bensons999 Believe me, I'd love to continue this project, but the dude I partnered with to make it is pretty unreliable. I'd basically have to start over from scratch with someone else and I'd probably want to re-do a lot of the graphics and design. For a project like this, I'd rather have some kind of funding or professional studio and then release on WiiWare or something. I have my hands full with a few other promising projects this year, but hopefully someday this will live again!

@Borin81 Unfortunately, yes, thanks to the guy who's programming it. For the life of me, I haven't been able to find a programmer who's both capable AND reliable, but perhaps if that ever happens I'll actually be able to finish a game.

@phubans That's too bad. I just found out about this game and tried it and loved it. I explored every single thing I could, but unfortunately that wasn't nearly enough. It would be awesome to see it completed. I just love games like these (side-scrolling RPGs), but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be all that many.

I'm afraid not... It's in the project graveyard for now. Maybe when I'm finished with the couple projects I'm currently working on and I have a good opportunity to revive it, like a serious and committed programmer and/or team, I'll work on it again.

Charming looking game. I like the Wonder Boy feel to it, but you've got a Metroid / Cave Story vibe going on there as well which is quite welcome.

Sad to hear that development halted on this. I really hope you can finish it up, it deserves a proper release. Might even be a good candidate for WiiWare / XBox Indie Games if you finish it to a state where people would pay a reasonable fee for it. :)

Unfortunately the person I partnered with on this project couldn't commit to it, so it would be nice to find someone who's more serious about programming to write it in a language that is open-ended enough to port to a platform.
