These bikes are derestricted when it arrives to you.. The bike's engine only produces 11Kw with standard exhaust.

the yzf is restricted is limited to 15 hp i have had my ecu remaped and with leo vince and the pipercross airfilter its on the dyno at 29hp.. so you tell me if you cant play with them, the engine is a short stroke 125 witch no one has designed like yamaha, change the front sproked to a 16 t and youl be hitting a 100 mph same as those weak rs125's with ther engines that are made of plastic they allways seem to melt..

The haust wont make much difference unless you change the sprokets and gearing, smaller on the back bigger on the front, otherwise it will just get to 134 kmh and bounce off the limiter

it is restricted just not anything major like other 125's on the market, theres 3 small restrictions in the stock exhaust and one in the ecu for the fuel injection

Well what is your source? and how much power do you think it'll make at the back wheel if you put a full system exhaust and if you could change your ecu?

exhaust systems result in torque gains, the Leo Vince dyno's at a 20% increase in torque, there is an Arrow pipe coming out soon which is hyped to be better. When an aftermarket ECU is available ill let you know, but it will allow the engine to "spool" faster resulting in an acceleration gain, but at the cost of fuel economy, which for a 125 aint alot

"sigh" it's almost not worth it, i'd rather just deal with it being slightly slow and save the cost of an exhaust, and then part ex my bike for something bigger, a 600 or a supermoto, but that's just me.

I also have one 125 NSR and it is true that I regtette that it is not same performance but good 40-45 km/h of difference between one 4 stroke and one 2 strocke is normal.

Actually those 30-40 hp 2-t:s are illegal here also, but no-one cares. Nobody drives with restricted 2-stroke anyways.
