sorry to disagree RS but I think you could have pushed this a bit more, you said that you read the animation survival kit but you might try the illusion of life as well. But keep on it:)
Thanks for the comment MirabiliaMania, you are right. As always, animation is surrendered, never finished. I have ways to go with my work, but its good to see my own progress =)
Thank you. This stuff definitely does take a lot of time to do, but it is rewarding once you see it come alive. A good book to look into if your interested is "Animators Survival Kit" Its good to get started, its one of the first animation book I read, and taking a few classes would be good as well =).
fantastic. very distinctive characterization in the walk cycles and very convincing and subtle gravity, like with the anchor, the chick's breasts, the dog's belly, etc. the holds with the little girl were a little robotic. maybe ease in and out of them more, unless she's supposed to be a wind up doll. but i'm no expert
Great! I like especially the realistic feeling of weight!

"A HOY matey, sink yer chompers into one of my crusty fish sticks! it'll shiver yer timbers!" - amazing how I still remember after 2 years later..

hey meho,
That's a real nice 2D reel. I'm lovin' the rough feel you get from the reel and music works well along the cycles from your characters.
I think the dog siffing is an inspired piece of animation.
Peace x
