  • My mom got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year a week after my birthday. Shes not doing so well because shes going through really heavy chemo. Im praying for her everyday, to be one of these people<3

  • ost my moma oct 7th 2011 she was diagnosed in 2007.. right after steve jobs she didnt get jonits until her last 3 months she was a miracle and was in remission.. it was clear out of her pancreas and went to her liver, I watched my moma die in hospice she is my hero. i miss her she was a fighter and just gave her body to mofit and said here experiment on me do what ever it takes she wasnt afraid of anything. i want anyone that has this to keep hope. do the experiments and dont be afraid.

  • I'm only 15 and I'm going to be raising money for Pancreatic Cancer in Memory of my Grandpa. I Miss You Grandpa :'( 05/26/2011

  • Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of only 4.6% so those who survive it are lucky. My Grandpa wasn't. :'(

  • My grandpa died after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. 3 months ago. By the time they new what it was it was to late for surgery. Those who survived it are so blessed. <3

  • I have survived almost 9 years after surgery. I am very blessed.

  • One of the teachers at my high school died of this cancer :(. Just a 37 year old man, was diagnosed then died 4 months later :0. Every year we have a run fund raiser for pancreatic cancer so I'm about to go out and collect pledges now.

  • What's really depressing is the fact that all these people had money. I'm not saying they didn't deserve to live. Just that what about people who are not so financially set or don't have insurance. They pretty much are SOL. Show me someone who was a little less financially secure who is a survivor!

  • how many cancer patients does it take to screw in a light bulb??

one. but it takes a whole entire support group to cheer him on and there's tons of grieving afterward.

  • My dog has pancreatic cancer. I love him so damn much.

  • my dad has un-operatable pancreatic cancer , he has chemo & drink avemar (fermented wheatgerm) , he is well and still going strong and feel like normal . its been since aug'09 til today sept'10. avemar does make a lot of difference to him. hope this spread of news / info would help others.

  • Gosh people in this forum are so cruel. My mother was diagnosed with it recently and its already spread to the liver. Some of us are looking for hope. Could we at least be nice and civil to one another?

  • @snorp73 wow my mom was just recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has now spread to the liver as well! i am so depressed....

  • @britishtwiggy Well, good luck to you. Just hope and love her. My mom is still alive and we did bring in hospice to help her move around and we have responsibily taken care of arrangements for her, but we have every reason to hope for more time. Every body is created different and your mom could have months left. God bless you and keep in touch if you need someone to talk to.

  • @peperonyandchease You're an idiot, and the things you said are bothersome. Find another youtube post to complain about ok? Only 4-5% of people diagnosed with pancriatic cancer are survivors, and those survivors have every right to celebrate right here on this cite. Thanks.

  • Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of many types of cancer on the human body. Weed is way more safe. :))))

  • Anybody knows what causes this type of cancer? We know liver cancer caused by hep b, prostate and breast cancer caused by hormones and gastric cancer caused by pickled food and H pylori. Colon cancer caused by polyp. But This pancreatic cancer has no specific causes.

I hope they found cancer cure.

  • @baukiki it's in the preservatives in the food we eat, it's because the plastic bowls that we heat our food in the microwave in leach toxins into our food, the plastic wrap used to cover food while in the microwave bakes toxins into the food you eat. we dump toxins onto our earth and they end up in our water supply and everything that eats anything that drinks this water will be poisoned. We have to switch the current methods of food production and come up with something safer. It's up to us!!!

  • My dad was just "unofficially" dx'd (didn't have tissue dx at that point but extremely high cancer markers and visual on CT) with pancreatic cancer 12 days ago. We don't know the stage yet, but just found out maybe 25 minutes ago that the cancer is present in his lymph nodes. All we can do is take hope from some of these individuals. With pancreatic cancer, the numbers are so horrific, HOPE is a rare commodity. My dad is strong....and we're going to give it a helluva fight.

  • pancreatic cancer is terminal... 97 percent dont survive 5 years and most patients die within 6 months of diagnosis

  • @usairforce7 My mother died of this disease in 1990. Many people spend so much research on things such as breast cancer and lung cancer which is much much easier to treat. More research needs to be done on pancreatic cancer. Its survival rate is so dubious.l

  • @usairforce7 It doesn't have to be this way.

Face it, it wont be a doctor that cures CANCER.

It will be a SCIENTIST, or maybe a carpenter, or a handyman ect.

Doctors will treat you till you're dead, they only have poison to kill the cells with, it kills good cells too. Try something new open your minds to accept the fact that Cancer is BIG BUSINESS, where does all that Susan Coleman money go???

Back into bogus research from the same companies that make the current poisons. I can make the cure.

  • My husband has it-it is an awful disease. I try to be positive but it is hard. My prayers to all that suffer from this.

  • Dance with Life when you can. I'm an 8 year PC survivor of Stage 3, Adenocarcinoma, and deal with it by staying in denial. I will not allow this cancer to make me jump through hoops to survive. You have to accept a "New Normal." Life not only has length, it has breadth. Good luck..

  • u will get through it...i have hope for you

  • My mother has it... I love her so much!!!

  • Pancreatic cancer takes a backseat to all cancers....all the funding goes to breast cancer...I certainly hope that these survivors make it....this cancer is so mean..if you put a 1000 calories in your body , you only get maybe 100 to sustain yourself , sadly the cancer gets the rest...I think because this form kills only 36,000 a year no pharmaceutical company is willing to invest monies to find a cure..think of all the men that have limp weiners....got a cure for that...millions in profit...

  • @shuttermom your silly, you think the solution is throwing money in that direction . that's like saying if you throw money at education the students get smarter, how can that happen? its the same teachers. . the easy problems always get solved first. Pancreatic cancer is fatal, but so is life.n just give me a magic pill so i can go on with my life. well its not going to happen. all your going to do is piss off the people who do work on the problem

  • i lost my mom to this disease, on 9-14-08!

  • my dad has it... hell pull through

  • seriously...i didnt that we could survive from pancreatic cancer..wow these people have my thumbs up they are giving hope to people who has this stupid cancer

  • Are any of these people still living???

  • What do you think about Gerson therapy? Have you read the book "The world without cancer"? Please get informed!

  • This cancer is no good. My dad suffered from it 20 years ago and I am infuriated there has been no progress on this disease even 20 years later. Forget a cure, if we can even diagnose it very early, we can fight it effectively.

This is truly a dreadful from of malignancy. Starts with a sharp lower backache, progresses to jaundice and then leads to ascitis(gathering of body flui in your abdominal cavity). this is the last phase which eventually leads to death.

    FIND A CURE

  • that pancreatic cancer really drains you out. i look at my dad everyday and he's just skin and bones. so far he's survived the cancer for almost 4 months since he's been diagnosed, hopefully more years to come

  • From everything I hear from those diagnosed, it sounds like the primary cause of pancreatic cancer is eating an excellent diet and routinely exercising. I am going back to my salty buttery fast food diet....

  • hey i know how u all feel although i do not have cancer but my mother does!! we are very positive about it she has stage 4 lung cancer. its hard for me sometimes cuz my friends mom passed away from the same cancer my mom has just months ago but we are still surviving!!!!!! i know that everyone will survive this cancer

  • A cure has been found,It's being kept from us buy the Pharmaceutical companies, and the Chemical companies. With their grip on our politicians. WHY?, Because they can't patent a plant. The Extracts from the Cannabis plant have been proven to kill cancer cells in our bodies and cure cancer in as short as 2 months without Chemo or Surgery

I have the proof, and will share it with all whom ask.

We have forgotten our Nation was BUILT on PIPE DREAMS- "Wake the DREAMERS"

  • you are right, the cure is out there. just google gerson therapy, dr william donald kelley enzymes, apricot kernels, vitamin C, H2O2 and others....

  • I gave you a thumbs up. Someone ignorant to give you a thums down because you were thinking positive.

  • @jonnyappleweed420 yea, thats why pot smokers have increased lung cancer.

  • @datzfast I have proof you are misinformed on what basis do you make this statement????

This is another MYTH still being spread in society today.

Just Google "Granny Storm Crows List" and follow the links to the information you seek. It's an A-Z list of studies and reports on Medical Marijuana and it's effects on cancers and various other disease.

REMEMBER THIS " It wont be a DOCTOR that cures CANCER it will be a SCIENTIST "

  • @jonnyappleweed420 im not saying thats impossible im saying if it were true why do pot smokers get lung cancer at a higer rate then those that dont smoke, and i have nothing against pot, i trashed my lungs with tobacco so i cant smoke anything.

  • @datzfast we don't get lung cancer at a higher rate, actually ; Cannabis smokers live at least 2 years longer than people that don't drink or smoke cigarettes, and 8-24 years longer then those that do. but SMOKING CANNABIS wont cure crap, it's a great treatment for many illnesses but in order to get a cure from Cannabis one must ingest the concentrates made from the plant material.

March 2009 Researchers in Madrid found that by injecting a THC compound into brain tumor they dissolved in 60 days

  • @jonnyappleweed420

HI MY FATHER HAS PANCREATIC CANCER THE DOCTOR SAID IT IS A TERMINAL CANCER,,,,I AM SO SAD ....CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT PROFF DO YOU HAVE ABOUT CURE CANCER PLEASE THANK YOU.

  • @GIOVANNALIGHT here find this posting in the American Association for Cancer Research and you will see the actual Medical study report on Pancreatic cancer and the effects THC has on this disease it's truly remarkable how this information just fades into the background somehow and never gets the publicity it deserves.

    Gods Speed

See through the lies and see the truth, and then you will find the cure.

  • @GIOVANNALIGHT I'm sorry to hear about your father :( However, sadly there is no cure yet for this type of cancer....only chemo and the surgury required to remove the cancer mass, or cells, and all you can do then is pray for the best, and prepare for the worst. Our government needs to spend more dollars funding for more research on a cure for this. Its the deadliest cancer out there right now. Best wishes.

  • Ophiophagous: You seem to be wrapped up in your own little world and I'm happy to tell you that the world DOES NOT revolve around you. Your parents should have raised you to respect people, but since it's clear that you could care less...keep your arrogant and moronic comments to yourself.

  • Ophiophagoon: Your just SAD. I do hope non of your family ever get this cancer. You will not want to see someone suffer from this. But I do so hope you get it. Then your stupid comment will come back and bite you in the cunt.

  • my uncle was diegnosed with this cancer 5 days ago im really sad hes like a father to me

  • Don't give up on him. It aint over until the Lord says it over.

  • and when the lord says its over, hell be in an awesome place.

  • My Grandma was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer she has been for a month now . Weird thing is she does not act any different of it she does everything she used too . But there is no excuse for this bullshit are government is doing this needs to be funded . For further note look up the venom of the blue scorpian but the FDA does not acknowledge it since its from cuba .

  • My father just died from Pancreatic Cancer on Nov 20, 2008. He just found out 3 weeks ago that he had pancreatic cancer. Although he has been doctoring since early 2008, doctors saw spots, fogging, stranding way back then and NEVER said anything. I am so mad at those doctors for not running the appropriate test. I could have my dad here with me right now.

  • (continuation) But I don't know what will happen tomorrow 'coz we know that the enemy is still there in her body. All we want from you are prayers, prayers that her life will be extended until our children are old enough to understand, and to stand alone without their mother on their side.

  • you may be interested in consulting how to cure cancer all by yourself. At home. You could just buy the last book of doctor Hulda Clark and do it at home, patying to noone, since it is self health what she promotes...It may really help. I wish you the best...I know you can

  • You got my thumbs up.

  • My wife 38, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago. She undergone chemotherapy but the tumor didn't stop from multiplying. Her liver is already affected. Since we don't have enough money to try some other medical procedures, she stopped seeing her doctor. And I also went overseas for my job. It's been a year now and her body is returning to normal. Her weight, hair and menstrual cycle has backed to normal.

  • orthodox cancer treatements do not work, that´s not the same as to say that cancer is a terminal illness. Go and donate to independent researchers, they will put the money where a good intention is, not like the pharmaceutical companies, they obviously want profit, not necesarily a cure.

  • I totally agree with you.

  • My mother died of this disease two years ago. It's been a difficult time trying to hold my family together since. Everything happened so fast. We were told she had six months to live but within six weeks she had passed away. I was so angry as she was a teetotal non-smoker and only 62. These videos have helped me understand the disease better and the stories of those who have successfully fought it have heartened me greatly. Thankyou.

  • heyy we loved your video and it really touched us greatly. it makes us wnat to know more about your cancer subscribe thanks your in our favorites :)

  • Hi I saw your awesome video about pancreatic cancer. We are the Hirshberg Foundation for Cancer Research at UCLA medical center. Thanks so much for doing all you do to help find a cure.

Please visit our foundation site at pancreatic "dot" org and we also do a huge run and walk for Cancer in Oct. every Halloween in So. Cal called the LA Cancer Challenge. You can read about it here LACancerChallenge "dot" com

Looking forward to hearing from you and working together to beat this disease.

  • My dad have pancreatic cancer, and he is very weak, he is going in kemo soon and this video is really giving my some hope in that he will live on longer time.... thanks for giving me hope!!!

  • My prayers are with you and your dad.

  • Keep it up!

  • I have pancreatic cancer, so the video was helpful to me in giving me hope. I do get depressed about my condition. I am 59 years old. I was considered in excellent health before my diagnosis. I applaud the people in this video for their positive-ness about their dealing with this disease. I hope there will be more funding for pancreatic research to help find a cure.

  • my husband died in 1986 from pancreatic cancer.my daughter was born june 1986. is pancreatic cancer hereditary?

  • hello and i know how u feel my mother was in great shape before she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. she did chemo therapy and tarceva and recently found out it spread so we are doing radiation and more chemo and probably clinical trials! you can survive this!!!!! i know it

  • My dad recently recovered from pancreatis. Not pancreatic cancer, but it is still fatal. My dad lost 100 pounds in 1 year and had trouble eating/drinking. Luckily, my dad went to 3 different doctors and the 3rd one discovered an ulser which was leading to the pancreatis. I'm guessing that pancreatic is a lower form of pancreatic cancer but anyway, pancreatis overproduces enzymes that can't tell the difference between the fat in organs and food you eat. So eventually, it would eat all the organ

  • (continued) organs from the inside out. I'm only 13 so you can only imagine the fear I had of my father dieing. I hope anyone who has any form of cancer/disease that is harmful can make a full recovery.

  • Hello, What a realistic yet hopeful portrayal of The People who have been impacted by this disease. This is a very high quality feature. I have multiple chronic illnesses and understand the tremendous courage and will to live a full life even with tremendous illness. I hope you show this to television stations with a strong community spirit. Thanks again for a very clear presentation.
