That's because it's written by an American Ex-Marine. And fully animated by the same guy (one person). The only things he didn't do on it were voices and music.
As a solo animator, he doesn't have access to the same kind of resources that a more established studio has; he's managed to finish a "movie" (rather, an OVA) and re-did some of the stuff here.

1: all dragons can magically become human, albeit just as strong as they were in their original forms
2: All one need do is touch the raft to be transported. He would just need to hold it. That's how he got his bones transported out of his body when he fought Gina.

Well maybe I'll consider it with AP. They certainly don't seem like the same level of douche that Marvel is. (It's bad enough they've already turned me off of comics period with everything Joe Quesada and his insane asylum lackeys have done to it )

This is pretty well done, but it could be a lot better.
Even though it's beating a dead horse, the voice acting could be a lot better. The same goes for the sound effects. The only non-sound related problem I have is that the fight sequence began to drag out and was rather droll.
All together I enjoyed this but, It has a lot more potential. I hope to see more in the future.

Fred Perry writes, draws and basically everythings the "Gold Digger" series, which is widely available at no comic book stores in your area. He's also put out loads and loads and loads of porno, most of which has already been uploaded to free sites by helpful perverts. How he's able to make a living with that setup is beyond me.
Wow the fighting scenes are so smoothe. I really admire Fred Perry's abilities though the only critique I could muster is the voices could have been slightly different? Some of the music/sounds parts are a bit off, probably due to compression. But still incredibly nice.
OK first of all, this is NOT anime. It's an animation made out of a comic which has over 15 years old. So please stop comparing what's NOT anime and does NOT want to be anime, to anime. They're completely different things.
I wish the voice acting was a little better. Over all this is okay.
