Kris is much better at interpreting a lyric than Danny has ever been on that stage. Danny has a powerful, soulful voice but lacks a connection with the material.

Danny and Kris have shown time and again that they can interpret a song and make it their own.

I wish Allison were in the final with Adam but Kris is the next best choice.

Adam's version of Ring of Fire was true to his style, kept the original melody, and was sung masterfully.

Kris did a version of 'She Works Hard for the Money' that was NOTHING like the original and blew me away. I had barely noticed him before that round.

These are the performances that separate the singers from the artists.

yes, kinda. Well, I don't know how he's doing what he's doing. I only know that it sounds great. But trained singers, producers and so on are better judges as they know exactly (at least I hope so) what it takes to sing at this level of perfection. (At least I was told that it IS indeed almost perfect) And they're able to distinguish claptrap and real greatness. Of course there are artists whose judgement I wouldn't trust, but mostly I just say what I like or dislike, but don't say it's no good.

We all heard what happened when Danny tried to imitate Adam and I hope more people can now aknowledge that what Adam does with his voice isn't screaming but superior singing. But it's easier to see for someone who knows the technique.
