In that era khmer culture was heavily indianised and anything that was influenced onto Thai culture resembled that fact. Siamese court had sent many artisans to cambodia (couldnt remember the year) to re-establish the royal dance and arts. Modern Khmer language has borrowed heavily from the Thai language. Royal palace in Pnom Penh is built in the architectural style of the Tai people (can be compared to temples in sipsongpanna) ancient khmer palace and temples were indic in architectural style.

Lethwei is recorded to be older than the bas reliefs in angkor wat suggesting that the style of fuighting has been around for hundreds of years before angkor wat or the rise of khmer civilisation. @khmerdragon89 have the same point of view towards each other. Although, I did admit it was the Thai governments fault for the preah vihear issue and no I am not Biased towards Thai people at all. Thai people arent perfect and neither are Khmers. As long as both our people stop this stupid shit Im all for it. But if there are more attacks on the Thai people then I will defend what I think is right.

actually Thailand, Burma and Cambodia were all part of the old Siam Empire and considering Muay Thai and Bokator are two very simular fighting systems they most probably share the same origin

Khmer, Indonesian and Indian were family. Sailendra was descendant of Khmer Funan. Khmer King Udayaditiyavarman II married to Queen of Bali and reigned in Bali and Khmer King Kaudinya and Kampu were Indian. Indonesian and Indian always supported Khmer for Khmer culture but Thailand never supported Khmer culture, Khmer temples but to claim Khmer culture, Khmer temples as Thai and that's why many Khmer and Thai arguing here on YouTube, at the WHM meeting and at the border.

@KhmerSpirit Khmer culture is still based off of indian and indonesian culture seeing as they developed first. Family or not it doesn't matter. Siam was a successor kingdom to Angkor so its only natural that they are very similar. But like I said, to say that Thai STOLE khmer culture is like saying Khmer STOLE Indian culture. Thai culture has many influences including chinese, Indian, Mon etc not just Khmer. As for Temples, we didn't build them. We conquered them in war so they now belong to us.

Khmer Empire reached its Zenith and when it reached its Zenith Khmer culture is totally Khmer and that's why it’s called Khmer Civilization. Siam was not a successor of Angkor, Siam never reached its Zenith like Khmer and never created its own but to steal Khmer culture and named as Siam. Siam never conquered, Siam was destroyed completely by Burma. It was Khmer helping Siam since Khmer helping Tai. Tai changed to Siam and Siam changed to Thai because Tai are hiding the truth.

It was Khmer who helped restoring Siam from Burma. Khmer culture is originated Khmer and listed as Khmer at the world heritage. UNESCO got nothing to do with losing land, you keep losing your claim at UNESCO because you keep talking about losing land. Your losing land is Nancho where your Tai originated from there and your never get your land back from China because you lost your Tai identity to the Mongol.
