Guy Ritchie has done a great work in Holmes and I think he deserved a Golden Globe for directing or at at least a nomination. Quite a few talents r usually neglected or underrated in the awards season. the visual style in Holmes in addition to the narrative structure alone r worth more than an award, hope he will get an oscar nomination, though i don't think so, maybe it is a bias against action-oriented movies.
