Easily catch Regirock:

- Get Poliwrath with the ability Damp

- Raise it to Lv. 40 (or slightly higher)

- Moveset: Hypnosis, any strong water or fighting attacks, and a weak normal attack

- Find Regirock

- He can't Self-Destruct, and Ancientpower isn't very effective

- Beat him down a bit with water/fighting attacks

- Get damage to as low as possible with normal attack

- Hypnosis (any time it's necessary)

- Pelt with Ultra/Timer Balls

Rock being made from stone, Ice being formed during the ice age I believe, and Steel by being compressed by pressure deep underground for thousands of years. I think they wake up to protect the earth alongside Regigas when the earth is in danger.
