what is the difference between a hobby box and not hobby box

on ebay a hobby box of this is like 40 bucks and another box is like 200, what the difference?

A hobby box garantees so many relic and autographs per box. Usually quite a few in this.

A retail box sometimes garantees only 1 and sometimes none per box.

So if you like a lot of autographs and reics you go with hobby.

Some questions:

Which football boxes has real autographs directly on the cards? No print or stickers.

What should I go for if I like real autos, especially dual and triple autos. Single autos with patch.

I don't care much for cards without autos, patch or no patch.

I've collected Hockey back in the early 90s, but nothing since. Football is cool though so might give it a try. Just need some info of what to start with in regards to the type of cards I like...

Why does it seem like sterling doesn't hold value very well?

It holds the value the consumer places on it. Sometimes that is high on a product and somtimes low. THere is no person that says they arent worth anything. It is the consumer.

These 08 Bowman are a tuff sell. It's like driving your new off the lot. Soon as you bust the plastic off these boxes they lose half of the value!! :(

The value is based on the demand. For some reason there is a demand to open these boxes, but not much demand on buying a lot of the singles from the boxes.
