  • Song for America, Point of Know Return & Play the Game Tonight are my Top Three Fave Kansas Songs. Vinyl Confessions is One of my Fave 1982 Vinyl Albums. Kansas Rocks! HOOAH!!

  • Love this song it stand up to any song in the 80's

  • Whaddya know!?! Learn something new every day. They're great vocals too.

  • Who's imagination drives news???

  • ........ this is when John Elefante started his public singing career after, and along with, his music producing business !!...awesome cultivated voice !

  • Kansas rocks, and this is one of their best songs. Carry On Wayward Son, Dust in the Wind, awesome songs as well. Not much of a Queen fan though, especially their early stuff. Actually, as a kid in the mid-70's, I was a severe KISS fan. I still love Ace Frehley. Even now he can shred with the best of em. The 70's & 80's rock was and is the best.

  • Queen and Kansas toured together during the 1974-75 era. Brian May and Kerry Livgren in particular became friends. The bands had much mutual respect for each others musicianship, Freddie was known to hold Steve Walsh in respect as a powerful vocalist and keyboardist. This band friendship was the impetus for Roger Taylors vocals.

  • Wow...sorry, but mindfuck! How many times have I listened to this song and had no idea? Anyway...

    <3333

  • I've played in a Queen cover band, and played Kansas also. Never knew of this. Fan of both bands, naturally.

    I'm amazed.

  • i ve listened to this song so many times and didnt know Roger was on it

  • I think losing The Game was worth it to listen to this song, haha.

This is actually the first Kansas song I've heard, I think I'll look into them more.

  • Yeahhh..anyone else lose the game? D:

  • This song is awesome...

... But it made me think of The Game.

  • This song always gives me goosebumps and I've heard it over 50 times... I think it's one of the best songs ever made... Especially this wonderful beginning...!

  • The piano is haunting...

  • This is a seriously fucking cool song, and Roger makes it that much cooler. :)

  • Wow, I didn't know about Roger Taylor either... how in the world did someone think to put those two together? Did they just happen to be in the same place or was it a planned thing? Pretty cool.

  • Too bad he didn't sing the lead also.

  • Whoa. I've listened to this song for YEARS and I had no idea that Roger did backing vocals for this.

Being a hardcore Kansas and Queen fan, I just joygasm'd. XD Thank you very much, sir.

  • Thank you I enjoyed it.-)))

  • sweet you have carry on my way wardson? with roger

  • The three songs Roger did with Kansas I posted. There are rumors he did backing vocals on some songs on their 'Audio-Visions' album but they haven't been confirmed.

  • @DaveRFuller I think he did, I've listened to a few of the other Kansas albums and theres some one in the background who sounds like Roger.
