i am going to be hounest here...but isnt Cyclops the most important part of the x men...isnt he the leader...he is suppose to be just as big as wolverine..probably a bit bigger since he is an original...why did the movie do this to him...the writers did a bad job in making him so they gave up and killed him off...

Cyclops was one of the first X-men with jean iceman angel (Which you only see a little bit in the third movie) and beast. And yes Cyclops was appointed the team leader. Like a quarter back for a football team. Anyways me im a cyclops fan. Neve understood why they killed him off.

@parag3247 I think the actor did a great job with cyclops in the first movie he led the team perfectly, just in the second and third movie they dropped the ball on him. If the ever make a X-Men4 then I would want cyclops to have a MAJOR role in that movie. He is too much of a bad ass not to have a greater role, I hate how they killed him off I was like WTF Jean loved Scott more then Wolverine.
