@speedtribejp Yes, they do sound very similar. Almost identical, in fact, without engaging the second VCO on the Promars. If I had to choose one over the other I would choose the Jupiter-4 because of the 4-voice polyphony. But the Promars is capable of a much fuller and richer sound because of that second VCO. To me it sounds better than the Jupiter-4 in unison mode. Together they make a wonderful pair. I think of them as one instrument, with different strengths, but a common sound.
Indeed, it does! Except I can't use the VCF ENV section at all at the moment because of come funky compuphonic issues with parameters from the VCF ENV cross-modulating the VCO! As it is, I am limited to just the VCA ENV, which is fine for simple patches... but the Promars is capable of far more when both envelopes are working properly! I really need to get that fixed ASAP. Even so, it still sounds beautiful, I agree.
Very inspiring track... great one!

The promars and JP4 together sort of give a PWM effect if I'm not mistaken (very dissonant and reminiscent of well temperament tuning: EXCELLENT).
Your little volkswagon was great! That really made me smile :)
Not only are you a superb musician, but I like your sense of humour and artistry.
