Nice, but this is the long way to the switch. The dramatic wall-walking part before the first slope is totally unnecessary. After getting the lead bar in the alcove opposite the entrance to this chamber, Lara can simply jump down to the slope (the full medipack in the lead bar alcove is a hint that this can be done at the cost of some health).

I tried that way maybe 5 times but it didnt work! I got so damn angry and left the room to continue my quest for the scion :P
