this doesn't work for folders i dont understand how this works but ill like to try it i want to lock my music pictures and other stuff any other program that can lock folders with a code like that program cause this program wont work :(

@ComputerTeckMaster16 when you try to encrypt a folder it just encrypts the content but if you make a zip file ( or any other compression and archiving format) it will encyrpt

Don't like the icon changing for every file I encrypt. It should ask for some admin password or something before encrypting, otherwise anyone sitting on my computer can encrypt as many files he or she wants.. nonetheless its a nice app, will try it soon. thanks for the review.

@onesahil: Interesting point Sahil, I did not check if we have an option for that, regarding that Icon changing we can stop that it's given on the site FAQ how to do the same.

What will happen to an encrypted file if we uninstall the AxCrypt software itself??

@BlixBlog: The file will stay encrypted even if you uninstall the application, but to decrypt the same you need Axcrypt software.
