i love the fact that only certain weapons go well with certain characters. guy - nunchukus, haggar - steel pipe, lucia - billy club, dean - hammer. whereas if hagger had nunchaku, he actually doesn't use it properly. awesome.

They often use hieratic scale in games like this. The boss is the biggest. They should make a UFC side scrolling fighting game where Brock Lesnar is the final boss.

I think it is Black.

Belger is kind of easy to predict, but the true challenge was getting to him, in my opinion.

Retu is a bit easy too, just stay away from him while he's jumping not to get a spinning kick on the face, then grab or combo him.

Black is a bit easy to predict too, but his spinning attack is a pain to dodge, specially if you play as Haggar, also he's A LOT faster than Retu or Belger and don't you forget his "whip" and other attacks.

Just my opinion there.

They need to give the 1942 Counter Strike treatment to the whole Final Fight Trilogy. I have wonderful new ideas for thugs, bosses, and locations for the games if Capcom would let me and if they would quit promoting the whole post-operational transsexual thing about Poison and Roxy. Black is the toughest of the bosses.

I always thought Belger was the hardest boss in the series, I really didn't have a lot of trouble with Black but the old crippled bastard kept jumping around everywhere and I could barely ever hit him. Not to mention that when you fought Belger, the other thugs would always come after you too.

Not to mention, he's the only Boss you actually see die. You only see Belgar fall, and hear the splat in 1, you only see Retu fall out of the paper-thin wall in 2, but you get to see Black electrocuted and killed because of it.
