As a musician I think anyone who can pull off a solo like that on an acoustic deserves credit. Sometimes bands just write what they feel. In the 80's this was acceptable, in the 90's also but now in the after.........Hollywood tells us what good music is and Metal, which Death Angel is, is being forced into the underground. Death Angel has other songs you know. Don't judge them based on 1 ballad they chose to do.

@xSODxDeMoNiaC 3 albums!!! To be objective: (I would list more) Show no Mercy, Hell Awaits, Reign, South, Seasons, and Divine Internvention were all great albums. Dude seasons came out October 9, 1990 and was one of the greatest thrash albums every made. Divine Intervention is awesome and came out in the 90's. I would put God Hates Us All and World Painted Blood up there with the rest but I'm trying to be objective.

Death Angel bests Slayer anyday man. I personally hate Slayer, they have not changed, and Death Angel is a great band. If you want to talk about sticking to your guns, there's no metal band that can compare to what Rush is doing/has done.
