@inquisidt when you want something bad enough.... you learn!

it's fairly simple in this case, all you need to do, is build a cube, subtract (create a hollow box), and then add lighting. you now have a room.

Okay, this sizing of the builder brush is irritating me. Someone please tell me how to resize the brush by dragging vertices instead of having to manually type in the size. Thanks.

@WeAreAliensFTW You can edit the brush manually using geometry mode. the button is on the left next to terrain editing and camera mode.

Im thinking why can't brush making be as simple and elegant as in Valve Hammer Editor? Everything there seems so simple, so easy. Everything in Unreal Editor seems so complicated :( I can make very detailed maps for goldsource and i can't do even a simple room in Unreal Ed :S I have some videos showing my maps if your interested, but i can't do even a fraction of that on unreal editor :( And im laughing how one web site labeled hammer a more complicated program, what a joke!

@cyberdaemon Tell me about it. I'm working on a Swat 4 map right now and I still can't figure out how to size the red builder brush. Do I really have to type the size manually? It's becoming quite the headache. Valve Hammer Editor is so much easier is this regard.

You have to buy unreal tournament 3, or you could buy Gears of War for PC. But If I was you buy ut3 since it's very cheap and it comes with the Unreal editior as well. Hope this helps :D

I got the Land of the dead and i make zombie factories or something like that but there is no zombies in the game i don't know what to do

When attempting to locate the textures to apply them to your walls, it is stated that the Environments folder should be your default. When you first load the program, you will be looking in the 'My Documents' folder when you want to be looking in the 'Program Files' folder for the environments.

Thought someone may get use of that information.
